Cairo, Nov 29 (Aswat Masriya) - The 50-member committee tasked with amending constitutional articles will begin on Saturday its final vote on the constitution, said committee spokesman Mohamed Salmawi.
The vote which is electronic will continue until Monday. It will be article by article and will take more than one session.
The session will be public and is expected to start with the committee's head Amr Moussa reading a statement on the work of the committee.
Salmawi pointed to a minor change in the constitution's prologue but refused to give details on the nature of this change.
This committee was formed last September by a decree from interim President Adli Mansour.
Several conflicts arose as the committee amended a number of articles related to military trials for civilians, interpretation of Sharia law, percentage of workers and farmers in the parliament, and abolishment of the Shura Council.
