Egypt's Interior Ministry said that two people were killed when gunmen opened fire on a police checkpoint at Cairo's Nozha area.
Gunmen driving two unidentified cars randomly shot at a police checkpoint in Nozha, killing policeman Mostafa Rabea Mohamed and a citizen named Ahmed Youssef, a ministry official stated.
In a post on its Facebook page, the ministry said that another policeman, Fayez Mohamed al-Sheikh, was injured in the attack, he added.
