CAIRO, Jan 15 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will meet with British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa on Thursday, the Egyptian Presidency said.

Sisi and Minister Tobias Ellwood will meet at the presidential headquarters accompanied by a UK trade delegation composed of 46 representatives of British firms operating in the fields of infrastructure, construction, and energy, the presidency added.

Members of the Egyptian British Business Council will also attend the meeting, according to the presidency.

The British Egyptian Business Association is expected to visit the UK in June to explore investment opportunities in Egypt, after participating in Egypt's economic conference scheduled in March, Ellwood said.

The investment conference would introduce the delegation to potential investment opportunities in Egypt, as well as governmental measures to facilitate and improve investment, Ellwood said at a business and investment conference in Cairo on Tuesday.

Egypt's Planning Minister Ashraf al-Arabi announced in September that the country will hold a conference in February to attract foreign companies, donor and international organisations.

Finance Minister Hany Kadry Dimian nevertheless said last November that the conference will be postponed to March to avoid its overlap with Chinese holidays. It will be held in the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh from March 13 to 15.
