CAIRO, Dec 24 (Aswat Masriya) - President Adli Mansour has called for taking measures that will positively reflect on Egypt's security.

Mansour's statement came during his meeting with Defence Minister Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Interior Minister Major General Mohamed Ibrahim to discuss security in Egypt.

They also discussed the latest updates on the Mansoura bombing, the Middle East News Agency reported on Tuesday.

A car bomb exploded early on Tuesday at a security compound in Mansoura, killing 14 people, including 12 policemen, and injuring 134 others.

The attack is one of the bloodiest since former Islamist President Mohamed Mursi was ousted last July.

The presidency has declared public mourning for three days and said it will not hesitate to take extraordinary measures to defend the country and its people.
