CAIRO, Sept 9 (Aswat Masriya) - French Prime Minister Manuel Valls will be visiting Egypt by the beginning of October, the country's ambassador to Egypt Andre Baran told Aswat Masriya on Tuesday. 

The visit will come in response to an invitation by Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb, which he extended when he was in France last May. 

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri is currently attending a conference in France to counter "terrorist practices" by the Islamic State fighters in Syria and Iraq. He met his counterpart on the sidelines of the conference.
