CAIRO, May 19 (Aswat Masriya) Monday is the last day for Egyptians living abroad to vote in Egypt's presidential elections.

The elections commission extended the duration of the expatriates' vote on Saturday due to what it described as a high turnout.

Egyptians are voting between ex-army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and leftist politician Hamdeen Sabahi this May.

The foreign ministry had announced that over 265,000 Egyptians had voted abroad as of late Sunday.

Voting abroad began on Thursday while local polls will open on May 26 and 27.
