Sisi meets Palestinian President in Cairo

CAIRO, Jan 14 (Aswat Masriya) - President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed on Wednesday the U.N. Security Council bid to end Israel's occupation and the acceptance of Palestine in the International Criminal Court (ICC), Reuters reported.
Both presidents also explored the situation in the Gaza Strip, and prospects of speeding up the Strip's reconstruction process, state-run MENA quoted Palestinian Authority Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina as saying.
Abbas will address the issue of Palestinian money withheld by Israel on Thursday before the Arab league, Abu Rudeina said, considering Israel's actions a crime.
