The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party said on Sunday that Cairo Airport has released the son of deposed President Mohamed Mursi, after it detained him for an hour and half.

Osama Mursi was traveling to Malaysia to continue his studies when he was prevented by airport security. 

After his release, he said that the airport apologized to him and said there had been a procedural error, adding that he is in the process of buying another ticket to proceed with his travel plans, the FJP’s official website said.
