A number of pro- and anti-Muslim Brotherhood protesters were injured on Friday in clashes between the two parties at the group's headquarters in Mokattam district in Cairo, an Aswat Masriya eyewitness reported.

Former presidential candidate and rights lawyers Khaled Ali suffered a dislocated shoulder and was transferred to Mokattam Hospital, a source at the Socialist Popular Alliance Party said.

Anti-Brotherhood demonstrators beat one of the Freedom and Justice Party members and attacked vehicles transporting brotherhood supporters from different cities.
