CAIRO, July 4 (Aswat Masriya) - Three people were killed as an explosion occurred while they were making homemade bombs in a Fayoum village on Friday, a security source said.
Of the three, two were wanted by the police on charges of forming a pro-Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, the source at the Fayoum security directorate said.
The police found around 20 other bombs ready for detonation inside the poultry farm where the three were making the bombs.
The incident comes one week after a series of explosions that rocked Cairo and one day after the anniversary of former President Mohamed Mursi's ouster from power.
On Thursday, two people were killed when a bomb they were making exploded in Giza's Kerdasa.
