Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawy said on Wednesday that the state of emergency that was imposed after President Mohamed Mursi’s ouster has been lifted since Tuesday.
Beblawy told a local channel that starting Wednesday the midnight-to-dawn curfew has ended too.
An administrative court ruled on Tuesday that the state of emergency be lifted which in effect ends the curfew imposed by the state.
