CAIRO, Feb 12 (Aswat Masriya) Three policemen were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Ismailia on Tuesday morning, the state news agency said.

The incident follows the killing of another police officer by masked men in the same governorate the previous day.

Attacks on security forces have increased in Egypt since the ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi in July.

Egypt’s army deposed Mursi last year in response to mass demonstrations across the country.
