CAIRO, Jan 31 (Aswat Masriya) - Muslim Brotherhood supporters set the Monib police station in Giza governorate on fire late Saturday, head of Giza investigations said.

Brotherhood supporters threw molotov cocktails at the station, triggering a small fire inside, General Gareer Mostafa added. Three of the defendants were arrested and referred to the prosecution for investigation, according to Mostafa.

Bombings and shootings targeting security forces have surged since the military ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Mursi in July 2013, following mass protests against his rule.
