CAIRO, March 3 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt’s prosecutor-general Hisham Barakat ordered on Monday the release of 22 students, who were detained over clashes with security forces, in concern for their educational future and social conditions.

The detained were accused of committing violence, thuggery and vandalism in different neighborhoods in Giza.

Fifty-three other students were also ordered released earlier on Monday due to the same reasons.
