President Mohamed Mursi asked Minister of Investment Yehia Hamed to create the necessary environment to launch economic development plans through forming real partnerships between the public and private sectors.

During a meeting at the presidential palace on Monday, the president ordered Hamed to swiftly resolve problems facing Egyptian and Arab investors, the presidency's Facebook page reported.

The president emphasised the need for creating a map explaining how to develop investment in Egypt within a certain time frame.

Mursi pointed to the private sector's vital role as a main pillar of development in Egypt.
