CAIRO, Dec. 8 (Aswat Masriya) - The fourth and final suspect in the deadly attack on a Giza nightclub overlooking the Nile was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, the interior ministry said.

The 20-year-old student was found in possession of a firearm, the ministry said in a statement on its Facebook page.

He confessed to firing at the nightclub in an incident which left 16 people dead on Friday, according to the ministry.

Three other suspects were arrested between Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, prosecutors ordered their detention for four days as part of the investigation. They were charged with "murder and arson".

After the third suspect's arrest on Saturday, state news agency MENA said police are searching for the fourth and final suspect.

According to the interior ministry, the first two arrested confessed to carrying out the attack, using two Molotov cocktails and gunfire.

The two suspects added that two others helped them carry out the attack and that their motive was "revenge" for being barred from entering the nightclub, the ministry said.

In an earlier statement, the ministry had said preliminary findings indicated that the attack followed a fight between the employees at the club and "others", according to the MOI statement.

But the manager of the business said there was "no dispute". "They do not know us and we do not know them," he said in a state news agency MENA video, filmed outside the burnt down facility.

"This is their criminal activity. They live off thuggery," he said.
