CAIRO, Sept 18 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's Foreign Ministry has asked truck drivers who travel to Libya to avoid Tobruk city by all means because of its deteriorating security situation, reported the state-owned news agency MENA.

Ali al-Ashiri, Foreign Ministry Aide for Egyptians Abroad, said that those who do not abide by these instructions should bear the full responsibility of being exposed to risk.

Ashiri stressed upon the continuity of the warning against travelling to Libya because of the current circumstances, appealing to Egyptians living there to stay away from areas of conflict.

Several Egyptians had been killed and kidnapped during the unrest in Libya. Most of the Egyptian nationals working there have been evacuated from it.

Flights to and from Tripoli stopped on July 13, following the worst wave of violence in Libya since the overthrow of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
