U.S. Defense Secretary to visit Egypt, Middle East on April 20

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will pay an 8-day visit to Egypt and the Middle East region starting April 20, the United States Department of Defense reported on Wednesday.
In a statement it issued, the department said that Hagel's tour will include visiting Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Hagel will meet with top military officials and civil servants in Egypt to discuss the Egyptian-American defense partnership and the democratic transition in Egypt.
