Brotherhood's Beltagy detained for 15 days for investigations

A Nasr City prosecutor ordered on Wednesday that the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed al-Beltagy be detained for 15 days pending investigations into allegations that he detained and tortured to death citizens at the Rabaa al-Adaweya sit-in. 

He was also accused of vandalizing government property, inciting violence and being part of a terrorist group.

The allegations also included murder, attempted murder and disrupting traffic and people's daily lives. 

The police arrested Beltagy on Thursday in Giza.
