CAIRO, Feb 7 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's Interior Ministry said that four policemen were injured as a bomb exploded on the Giza flyover on Friday morning.

The blast targeted a police force stationed on the flyover, an official at the ministry's media centre wrote on Facebook.

Two police officers and two conscripts were injured and later transferred to hospital for treatment.

Bomb squads and civil defence teams inspected to the site of the explosion.

Blasts targeting security forces have increased in intensity since former President Mohamed Mursi was deposed last July following mass protests against his ruling.
