CAIRO, June 6 (Aswat Masriya) - President-elect Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received on Friday two phone calls from Israeli President Shimon Peres and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu congratulating him on winning the presidential election, Sisi's electoral campaign said.

In a statement it issued, the campaign said Sisi expressed his appreciation for their eagerness to communicate with him and congratulate him.

Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to keep all its international treaties as well as the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty.

"The current phase is a real opportunity to find a suitable solution for the Palestinian cause and to spread peace in the whole of the Middle East," Sisi said.

On their part, Peres and Netanyahu have said that their country is ready to fully cooperate with Egypt in all fields.

Sisi, who won the election with about 96 percent of the total vote count, is scheduled to be sworn in next Sunday.
