CAIRO, Sept 16 (Aswat Masriya) - A Giza Misdemeanour Court reduced Tuesday former Manpower Minister Khaled al-Azhary and former Parliament Member Gamal al-Ashry's sentences to one year instead of two for hiding Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed El-Beltagy.

An Egyptian court had sentenced al-Azhary and al-Ashry to two years in prison in March for hiding Beltagy after it was proven that they were aware of the authorities' search for Beltagy, but hid him from justice, a judicial source told Aswat Masriya. 

Ibrahim Farahat, owner of the house where Beltagy was hiding, was also sentenced to one year in prison after being previously acquitted.

Beltagy, who was arrested in August following the overthrow of Mohamed Mursi, is standing trial over accusations that he incited the killing of protesters.
