CAIRO, Feb 20 (Aswat Masriya) - One person was killed and two others were injured in clashes between protesters and other residents in Cairo's Matariya district late Friday, a security official said.

Mohamed Qassem, head of the Cairo investigation authority, told Aswat Masriya that security forces "peacefully" dispersed protesters, whom he described as "Muslim Brotherhood supporters".

Brotherhood supporters have been calling for nationwide protests almost every Friday since the military ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013, following mass protests against his rule.
