Security guard the presidential palace as the new government takes oath to office - Reuters
Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi convened a meeting with the new cabinet at the presidential palace on Sunday.
The meeting addressed means to recover the economy, enhance tourism, attract investments and increase exports and development to create more job opportunities and improve services.
Ten new ministers took the oath of office on Sunday before President Mohamed Mursi and Prime Minister Hisham Kandil.
The new ministers are:
Mohamed Ibrahim for Minister of Interior
Bassem Kamal Auda for Minister of Supply
Al-Mursi al-Sayed Hegazy for Minister of Finance
Atef Helmy for Minister of Communications
Amr Mohamed Salem for Minister of Parliamentary Affairs
Hatem AbdelLatif for Minister of Transportation
Ahmed Imam for Minister of Electricity and Energy
Mohamed Ali Beshr for Minister of Domestic Development
Wael al-Meadawy for Minister of Civil Aviation
Khaled Mohamed Fahmy AbdelAal for Minister of Environment
