Palestinian poet Mourid al-Barghouti criticized the delay of Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi in making decisions that imply he is heading in the right direction to fulfill his promises.

“Mursi will begin accomplishing the first-100-days promises... in a 100 days”, Barghouti posted on Twitter.

He added, "People are more mature than to ask Mursi for accomplishments in the first week, but they wish for reassurances. To this point, he has not offered any reassurances beside swearing that the military council maintained the people's trust".

The Palestinian poet had attacked Mursi's Tahrir speech earlier, saying, "Time will tell whether Mursi's Tahrir moment was of honor or similiar to Essam Sharaf's Tahrir moment", referring to ex-Prime Minister Essam Sharaf who made many promises in Tahrir square but failed to meet them.
