CAIRO, Nov 25 (Aswat Masriya) Security forces opened Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda squares to traffic on Monday, but Tahrir remained closed.

Army and police forces closed the three squares on Sunday in preparation for demonstrations called by supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi.

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy called for demonstrations on Sunday to commemorate the passing of 100 days on the violent dispersal of the Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins where over 1,000 people were killed.

Mursi’s supporters have staged demonstrations since the army ousted the Islamist president in July in response to mass demonstrations across the country.
