CAIRO, Feb 10 (Aswat Masriya) A group that was formed to support ousted President Mohamed Mursi has called for demonstrations on Tuesday, February 11, to mark the downfall of Hosni Mubarak in 2011.
The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy said in a statement on Monday that it will hold demonstrations on Tuesday in several locations to denounce the “coup”.
Three people were killed in confrontations between supporters and opponents of Mursi and security forces on Friday.
The NASL has been holding demonstrations against the army and the interim government since the Islamist president was ousted last year.
Egypt's army ousted Mursi in July in response to mass demonstrations against his rule.
