Police forces and Sharqiya residents successfully ended a siege imposed by a number of Salafis on the house of a Muslim Shi'ite family in Harbit Village.
Several Salafis besieged the house of Shi'ite leader Hassan Shehata's brother, the Middle East News Agency reported.
Shehata was killed in last June by villagers in Giza's Nomros.
The Salafis called for expelling the Shi'ite family but a group of residents managed to end the siege and agreed on a traditional reconciliation meeting between the two parties to resolve this issue.
Four Shi'ites were killed and dragged in the streets of Nomros Village on June 23, including Sheikh Hassan Shehata.
