CAIRO, March 2 (Aswat Masriya) Unidentified gunmen shot an Egyptian worker in Libya's city of Benghazi on Sunday, leading to his injury, state-owned agency MENA reported.
This incident comes one week after the police found seven Egyptian Christians who were shot dead on a beach near Benghazi. No entity has claimed responsibility for the killings.
"Salma Fawzi, an Egyptian Christian who works at a shop, was shot by gunmen," Security Spokesman Ibrahim al-Shaar said.
He added that the reasons behind the shooting were not known yet.
Egypt's Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its deep concern and dissatisfaction with the repeated accidents that Egyptians have recently endured in Libya.
