Former Secretary General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei said that electing a president in the absence of a constitution and parliament is electing a president with more authorities than the most furious dictatorships.
On Twitter, the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate listed two solutions to lead Egypt out of its political turmoil.
The first solution is: “Agreement over a presidential council to form a constituent assembly and national coalition government, then conducts presidential and parliamentary elections following the ratification of a constitution”.
The second solution is: "A temporary president with a national coalition government to form a constituent assembly, then conduct presidential and parliamentary elections following the ratification of a constitution”.
