CAIRO, June 5 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has declared Sunday an official holiday as it marks the conclusion of the second phase of the country's transitional roadmap into democracy with the inauguration of Abdel Fatah al-Sisi as president.
The decision does not include universities or schools that are holding finals these days.
Sisi won the presidential elections with 23,780,104 (96.91 percent) of votes cast last week, the election commission said on Tuesday.
He will be sworn in as Egypt's elect-President on Sunday at 10:30 am.
