Hundreds of protesters from political and partisan powers gathered on Friday evening in front of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) headquarters in Aswan and hurled stones at it.

The protesters chanted slogans such as "Down with the rule of the guide (in reference to the brotherhood's General Guide) ... No to the new National Democratic Party".

Police forces withdrew from the area where the headquarters is located, Aswat Masriya correspondent reported.

Hundreds had gathered at al-Shohadaa Square to express their rejection for President Mohamed Mursi's latest decisions.
