CAIRO, Mar 1 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's Interim President Adli Mansour met with the newly-sworn in cabinet and its Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab, on Saturday to discuss the completion of the road map.

The road map includes holding presidential and parliamentary elections and meeting the citizens' urgent needs.

The cabinet was sworn in earlier today before President Adli Mansour at the presidency's headquarters in Cairo.

Mansour commenced the meeting with praise for former Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawi and his cabinet, whom he said gave all they have to the country, presidential spokesman Ihab Badawi said.

The president stressed the importance of providing equal opportunities for all, upgrading the quality of education and health services, and working on attracting investments, Badawi stated.

The new cabinet included 31 ministers, 11 of whom are new.

Former Premier Beblawi and his cabinet resigned last Monday. Mahlab, former Minister of Housing, was tasked with forming a new cabinet.
