CAIRO, Feb 1 (Aswat Masriya) An Egyptian court adjourned on Saturday the trial of ousted President Mohamed Mursi and his aides to February 4 for further investigations into violence that erupted by the Ittihadiya presidential palace over a year ago.
The court delayed the case to form a technical committee to investigate relevant footage presented by the prosecution.
Mursi’s defense attorney, Selim al-Awa, doubted the authenticity of the footage in Saturday’s hearing.
Mursi and other Muslim Brotherhood leaders are standing trial over accusations that they incited the killing of peaceful protesters in December of 2012.
