CAIRO, Feb 4 (Aswat Masriya) An Islamist alliance called for demonstrations on Tuesday in solidarity with ousted President Mohamed Mursi as he stands trial with his top aides over violence that happened by the group’s headquarters under Mursi’s rule.
“The army’s judges still do not fear God, continue to dismiss law and justice and continue to go after the free, forgetting judgment day,” the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy said in a statement earlier on Tuesday.
Mursi and other Muslim Brotherhood senior members are being tried for inciting the killing of peaceful protesters by the presidential palace in Heliopolis on December 5 in 2012.
