CAIRO, March 26 (Aswat Masriya) One person was killed and eight were wounded in clashes between pro-Muslim Brotherhood supporters and security forces near Cairo University on Wednesday, Egypt's health ministry said.
The wounded have been transferred to a local hospital, the ministry told the state news agency.
The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy had called for demonstrations against the ouster of President Mohamed Mursi.
Students also gathered in Alexandria and several other governorates today, sparking some clashes that left nine injured.
