Arab World's biggest Book Fair kicks off in Cairo

CAIRO, Jan 22 (Aswat Masriya) Cairo’s Book Fair, the biggest in the Arab World, began on Wednesday, with 755 publishers in both Arabic and English.

The Book Fair will continue until February 6 with the main seminar titled “Culture and Identity” featuring the works of late Egyptian novelist Tahaa Hussein.

Awards will be distributed to the top ten Egyptian books in the fields of Arts, literature and sciences.  

This is the 45th Cairo Book Fair, with the first one being in 1969.
