Egypt cabinet promotes 100,000 public servants

Egypt's government approved the promotion of 100,000 public servants on Tuesday after they fulfilled the required time in service to receive promotions, Prime Minister Hisham Kandil said on Tuesday in a cabinet meeting.
Kandil added in a statement published on his official page that the cabinet's decision came to push forward the younger and middle-aged employees to higher posts.
