The trial of former interior minister Habib al-Adli and former president Hosni Mubarak’s sons, Gamal and Alaa, will take place at the Police Academy in New Cairo for security reasons, judicial sources reported.
The trial of Al-Adli and two others all charged with graft will be held on Tuesday at the academy headquarters, Mohamed Manie, assistant of Justice Minister for court affairs, said.
Another case where Gamal and Alaa, in addition to seven others, are charged with obtaining money unlawfully by selling the Egyptian National Bank for 2 billion and 51 million Egyptian pounds will be looked into on June 9 before a Cairo criminal court headed by Judge Mohamed Reda Shawkat at the Police Academy as well, Manie told the Middle East News Agency (MENA)
