Ex-presidential candidate and founder of the Popular Current Hamdeen Sabahi praised the decision of Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi to pardon all political prisoners detained following Mubarak's ouster.
In a Twitter post, Sabahi described the action as a step in the right direction.
Mursi pardoned all political prisoners on Monday, even those whose cases were still being investigated.
