CAIRO, July 14 (Aswat Masriya) U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Egypt on Tuesday and hold talks with high ranking officials in Cairo, the state news agency said on Monday.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri had a phone conversation with Kerry over the current crisis in the Palestinian territories that are being subject to continuous Israeli airstrikes on Sunday.
This will be Kerry's second visit to Egypt since President Abdel fattah al-Sisi, the former army chief, was inaugurated president.
Kerry, the highest-ranking U.S. official to visit Egypt, was in Cairo by the end of June.
