Egypt's President Mohamed Mursi will hold talks with his Sudanese counterpart, Omar al-Bashir, during his visit to Sudan's capital on Thursday.

The two presidents will attend a session for the Egyptian Sudanese joint business council after the council's recent reshuffle, a statement for the presidency on its Facebook page said.

Al-Bashir and a number of Sudanese ministers welcomed Mursi upon his arrival to Khartoum.

Mursi arrived in the capital on Thursday afternoon accompanied by a delegation grouping the ministers of foreign affairs, planning and international cooperation, industry and foreign trade, supply, water sources and irrigation, agriculture, transportation, and tourism.
