A group of Ultras Ahlawy fans (hardcore football enthusiasts) stormed Egypt's Media Production City on Tuesday, reported the Middle East News Agency.

According to the agency, Ultras members tried to take over the broadcast control room, in an attempt to prevent the airing of some programs that are “hostile to them, mainly the one hosted by Ahmed Shubair".

A large number of Ultras fans gathered by the "Modern Sport" channel, chanting against Shubair and his daily program that airs at six o'clock in the evening.

A group of Ahlawy Ultras fans broke into Nasr City's Ahly club last Sunday but the club's administration denied it, claiming that they merely surrounded the club from the outside.

The Ultras is opposed to having any matches take place until those responsible for the killing of about 70 football fans in February’s deadly Port Said clashes are brought to justice.
