An Egyptian band revives Pharonic music heritage
The Cultural Development Fund set up a "Pharaonic music"ceremony where a group of musicians performed a Pharaonic Music Ensemble, founded in 2007, by Khairy Malt. Inspired by the ancient Egyptian literature and mundane life in the community, the group sang in hieroglyphic and played copies of musical instruments used in ancient times.
