Security forces provided supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi with a safe exit out of the Fattah Mosque early on Saturday, reported the state news agency.
The protesters had hidden inside the mosque since yesterday after clashes with police forces and refused to come out despite negotiation efforts late on Friday.
The authorities are currently negotiating with another group of supporters, reported MENA.
They allowed a medical team into the mosque early on Saturday to transfer some of the wounded to a hospital to receive medical attention.
