CAIRO, Jan 21 (Aswat Masriya) - Security forces arrested ten individuals Wednesday evening following the dispersal of a march organised by Muslim Brotherhood supporters in downtown Cairo, a poilce official said.
The dissolved Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), the political wing of the Brotherhood, posted a video on Facebook of dozens of protesters in downtown, describing it as a "surprise" protest in downtown's Tahrir Square .
Interior ministry Spokesman Hany Abdel Latif denied to Aswat Masriya that there were any protests in the square.
The pro-Mohamed Mursi Anti-Coup Alliance, called upon its supporters to protest in Tahrir Square to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the January 25 uprising.
The ministry of interior has announced that it is prepared to secure the "celebrations" of the uprising's anniversary.
Egypt listed the Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation in December 2013 and insists it is behind the stringent wave of militancy which has targeted security personnel since the ouster of Islamist President Mursi. The Brotherhood continuously denies the accusations.
