The National Salvation Front will form a committee within the coming days to discuss its stance on the upcoming parliamentary elections, Magdi Hamdan, a member of the front, said on Wednesday.
The front held a meeting earlier today to discuss whether it will contest or boycott the elections, Hamdan, a member of the Democratic Front Party, told Aswat Masriya.
The meeting was held at the Democratic Front Party headquarters.
The front also declared its full support for the "Tamarrod" (Insurgence) Campaign which aims at gathering millions of signatures necessary to topple President Mohamed Mursi.
"The front will open its headquarters in governorates to help the campaign gather the signatures to topple the regime and hold early presidential elections," Hamdan stated.
The NSF said it would boycott the parliamentary elections Mursi called for last April before they were cancelled upon a court order.
