Presidential aide: Women protection against violence law still underway

A draft law to protect women against violence is still undergoing study, presidential aide for women's affairs Omaima Kamel said on Monday.
The draft law has gone through several phases, the state news agency reported Kamel as saying.
The process included gathering proposals from the National Council for Women and the Ministry of Justice.
The final report on all proposals will be issued within days, Kamel stated.
