CAIRO, May 2 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held "friendly talks" with the Saudi monarch, during a short stop at the Saudi capital Riyadh on Saturday.
Sisi and King Salman discussed bi-lateral ties and regional and international affairs, the Saudi state news agency SPA said.
Egypt is part of a Saudi-led coalition which launched military operations against the Houthis in Yemen on March 26, after the Shia rebel movement made advances onto the Yemeni south.
Sisi was welcomed at the airport by an assembly of royalty, including the newly appointed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef.
