CAIRO, May 23 (Aswat Masriya) - The Presidential Elections Commission (PEC) has informed judicial authorities taking part in the election that voting in subcommittees in South Sinai has been cancelled due to the current security situation, said Mohamed Galal, Chairman of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.

The voting will continue in the main polling stations only, Galal told Aswat Masriya.

The judges in charge of supervising the voting process in South Sinai subcommittees will not be housed temporarily near their polling stations as was the plan, Galal said.

Presidential elections are schedule to take place inside Egypt on 26 and 27 May.
